2000-present • Make Room For Art, Boulder CO. Professional Artist, Watercolor painting instructor, Studio art business, includes private and semi-private art instruction; teach weekly watercolor painting classes in landscape, still-life, portrait, and garden painting; consultation and commissioned work.
2007-present • Design and conduct painting travel tours. Spain (2007, 2014), San Miguel de Allende, Mexico (2008,2009,2010, 2011,2012, 2013), Greece (2010).
2005-present • Art Therapist (ATR). Conduct individual art therapy sessions for children and adults in transition and dealing with stress, relationship issues, parenting issues, depression and anxiety, creative and emotional blocks, head injuries. Provided art therapy sessions for Naropa Art Therapy Graduate Students.
2001-2009 • La Noche de Artesanias, Boulder, CO. Arts Facilitator. Facilitated art night for Latina women and children in Spanish, in public housing to build community, cultural pride, and empowerment. Funded through private grants for community outreach programming of Boulder Housing Partners.
1999-2001 • I Have A Dream Foundation, Boulder, CO. Arts Facilitator. Created and conducted art program for low-income Latino children (Dreamers) in after school tutoring and educational program. Facilitated summer arts camp (2000, 2001, 2002) for over 100 dreamers creating murals, mosaic and tiled walls and signs for housing community centers.
1992-2001 • Naropa University, Boulder, CO. Adjunct Faculty, Advisor (1993-96). Transpersonal Counseling Psychology Graduate Program, Art Therapy Track. Taught core graduate art therapy courses, designed curriculum, supervised students, interviewed applicants, thesis reader and chairperson.
1996-1997 • Washington Bilingual Elementary School/Family Resource Program, Boulder, CO. Co-led art therapy groups in Spanish with Kindergarten – 2nd grade Latino children to help them better adjust to their classrooms.
